group fitness classes

  • We will slowly reintroduce group fitness classes a few weeks after re-opening

  • All classes will be limited in size and formatted in a way that members will not have to rotate stations or touch any equipment but their own

  • All equipment used will be thoroughly disinfected before and after class by Kinema staff

  • We will use larger outdoor spaces for classes when able to

  • All members will still have access to live and recorded virtual class options

limited services

  • Previously provided towel service is temporarily suspended

  • Members may still use the showers - however, some will be blocked off in order to efficiently keep these spaces clean

  • Members may bring their own shower towels to use - ALL belongings must be taken with you upon leaving the fitness center or they may be disposed of

our heightened cleaning process & safety measures

  • Gym hours will be restricted to only when staff is onsite to ensure our safe distancing guidelines are met and that proper disinfecting is taking place

  • The gym door will remain propped open during the new fitness center hours – members are still encouraged to scan their key FOBS upon entry. Key FOB entry will not be possible outside of fitness center hours

  • Kinema staff will be wearing a mask when members are present in the fitness center and when cleaning

  • Equipment will be disinfected 2-3 times daily along with high touch points throughout the fitness center and in the restrooms

  • Building cleaning staff will continue their daily disinfecting of high touch surfaces both outside and inside the fitness center

  • Members may choose to wear their own mask while in the fitness center

member responsibility

  • All members are expected to follow local safety guidelines put in place by public health officials: including maintaining 6 feet of distance from others, avoiding touching your hair or face, coughing or sneezing into your elbow or a kleenex and washing hands immediately after, and stay home if you are feeling unwell or are showing any symptoms of a flu-like illness

  • Members are expected to wipe down any and all equipment before and after use with the cleaning wipes provided

  • Wash and sanitize your hands as often as possible and after touching doors, lockers, hair, and equipment

  • All gym sign-ups / cancellations must be done via email - not in the office. Please limit office visits as much as possible
